Claiming a Player
Every user can claim one YBL player on the website. Your claim links your Discord account to that player so you can manage upgrades and receive rewards.
One claim per account. Make sure you pick the right player — contact an admin if you need it changed.
Upgrades
All upgrades are done on your My Player page. Stage your changes, review the cost, then hit Apply Upgrades.
Attributes — costs XP
Raise your player's attributes up to their caps. Each point costs XP — higher-rated attributes cost more per point, and specialist attributes cost more than base attributes. To go past a cap, use a cap breaker.
Some attributes (like Pass IQ or Hands) are calculated from your other attributes and go up automatically — see Calculated Attributes.
Badges — costs Badge Tokens
Badges upgrade through levels: Bronze → Silver → Gold → Hall of Fame → Legend. Each level needs the matching token (e.g. a Gold token to upgrade to Gold).
Primary badges go up to Legend, secondary badges up to Gold, and any other badge up to Silver. A badge you don't have yet can be added at Bronze with a Bronze token.
Primary and secondary badges are chosen with badge points when you create your player. Badge tokens come from the Battlepass and loot packs.
Tendencies — costs Tendency Tokens
Change a single tendency for 1 Single Tendency Token, or overhaul all tendencies at once for 1 Custom Tendencies Token.
Animations — costs Animation Tokens
Swap jump shots, dribble moves, dunks, and more. Each animation type has its own token. Available options depend on your player's size and current attributes.
Hot Zones — costs Hot Zone Tokens
Upgrade a zone from Neutral to Hot for 1 Hot Zone Token per zone. Cold zones cannot be upgraded.
Cap Breakers
A cap breaker raises an attribute's cap — and the attribute goes up with it, for free.
- Only on a maxed attribute (value at its cap).
- Up to 5 per attribute, never past your body ceiling.
- Each one gives a bit less than the one before. Gains are bigger on low attributes and on attributes that matter less for your build.
- On My Player, each maxed attribute shows the exact gain before you apply it.
Where to get them
- Shop (My Player → Wallet tab, or
/ybl shop): paid with your player's XP — 250 XP for the first, 500 for the second … up to 2,500 for the 10th; every one after that costs 2,500. No limit. Cap breakers your player got in the 2K27 conversion count as already bought. - Top Milestones and the Battlepass.
- Admins can grant them, too.
Milestones
Your player earns milestones for great games, season totals and career achievements. Find them on the Milestones tab of your My Player page and claim the reward once a milestone is reached. Top Milestones also give a cap breaker.
Battlepass
The Battlepass tracks your activity each season and rewards you with tokens, XP, and loot packs as you level up your Chat Level.
How to earn XP
Rewards
Each level-up unlocks a reward automatically — badge tokens, tendency tokens, animation tokens, cap breakers, loot packs, and more. Check your current progress with /ybl battlepass in Discord.

Earning Money
Money in your wallet is separate from XP. Use it to buy extra XP or loot packs via /ybl shop.
Shop Items
5 XP
Added directly to a player of your choice.
Premium Loot Pack
Contains tokens and upgrades — delivered by an admin.
Legendary Loot Pack
High-tier tokens and rare rewards — delivered by an admin.
Cap Breaker
Paid with your player's XP, not wallet money. Price rises to 2,500, then stays there. No limit.
/ybl wallet to check your balance before shopping. Loot packs are fulfilled manually by admins — you'll receive your items after they process your order.
